This volume consists of short written statements of the Mother – letters, notes and messages – that, apart for a few exceptions, do not appear in her Collected Works. Many new writings have come to light since the seventeen-volume set of Collected Works of the Mother was organised and published in 1978 around the time of her birth centenary. This new material supplements other statements previously published in Volume 12, On Education, and Volumes 13, 14, and 15, Words of the Mother—I, II, and III, and has been arranged by subject, following the categories already established in the above volumes.
The Note on the Texts at the back of the book provides further details that should enhance the reader’s understanding and appreciation of these new words of the Mother.

Detailed Description
The Mother’s words are not mere intellectual statements; they are "vibrational forces" that act directly on the consciousness of the seeker. New Words of the Mother is a supplemental volume to her Collected Works, gathering previously unpublished messages, notes, and short prayers from her final decades. At the Aura Experience Store, we recommend this volume as a primary "vibrational guide" for the path of Integral Yoga. The book is organized thematically, covering the essential aspects of spiritual life: the Divine, sincerity, aspiration, and the "Yoga of Works." These brief, luminous messages were often given to disciples in response to specific difficulties, making them highly practical and actionable for the modern reader. The core of the volume focuses on the "inner attitude" required for spiritual progress. The Mother explains that the first requirement is a "total sincerity"—a transparency of the nature that allows the Divine Light to act without resistance. She provides "mantras" for cultivating a state of quietude, equality, and joyous trust in the Divine Grace. Her words on "work as an offering" are particularly significant, showing how to turn the most mundane activities into a field of divine manifestation. The prose is poetic, rhythmic, and deeply moving, inducing a state of meditative receptivity. Many find that reading just one message a day helps to create a "sunlit" inner atmosphere that remains unshaken by the noise of the world. For the contemporary seeker, New Words of the Mother is an indispensable resource for "quieting the mind" and "opening the heart." It provides the intellectual and emotional "seeds" needed to cultivate a relationship with the Divine that is both personal and vast. This book is more than a collection of quotes; it is a practical manual for the "transformation of the nature," showing how to move from ego-centered desire to soul-centered service. By engaging with these pages, you are invited to participate in the "Great Adventure" of the spirit at its most intimate level. This volume is a cornerstone for any spiritual library, serving as a constant reminder that the Divine Grace is always present, guiding us toward the ultimate victory of Truth and Love. It is a perfect gift for those who seek to find the sacred in every breath, offering a sunlit path through the complexities of human existence and the realization of a higher consciousness on earth.
About the Author
Sri Aurobindo (1872–1950) was a spiritual revolutionary and philosopher who transitioned from a leader in the Indian independence movement to the Master of Integral Yoga. Born in Calcutta and educated at Cambridge University, he spent forty years in Pondicherry developing a system designed to transform human nature at its root. His literary output—including Savitri and The Life Divine—serves as a "vibrational map" for the soul's ascent. He provided the metaphysical framework for the descent of a Supramental consciousness, a power of truth that he believed would eventually transform human nature at a cellular level. His work is characterized by an intellectual rigor that bridges the gap between Western rationalism and Eastern mysticism. At the Aura Experience Store, we present his work as the definitive laboratory for a higher consciousness, offering the clarity and strength needed to navigate the 21st century with noble purpose. To read Sri Aurobindo is to engage with a mind that encompasses the totality of human experience while pointing toward an inevitable, luminous destiny. His writings are more than philosophy; they are a direct transmission of a lived realization that seeks to manifest a divine life on earth. He remains the cornerstone of the evolutionary movement, providing the "intellectual and emotional anchor" for the contemporary seeker. His voice is a constant reminder that the realization of the Divine is the ultimate purpose of our existence.
