Our Social Causes
Sri Aurobindo Society is committed to fostering a holistic and inclusive model of development rooted in the spiritual and practical ideals of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Among its many initiatives, the Society actively supports education reform, rural development, women's empowerment, and healthcare—each designed to uplift individuals and communities through conscious action. Through projects like SARVAM (Sustainable Access to Rural Vitality through Modernisation), the organisation empowers rural populations by improving access to education, vocational training, digital literacy, and sustainable livelihoods.
Another key pillar of its work is Divine Blossoms, a transformative approach to integral education that nurtures the mind, body, and soul of young learners. The Society also champions mental and physical well-being through initiatives like AuroWellness, combining traditional Indian wisdom with modern science. Its work in women-led development, particularly through skill-building and leadership programmes, has enabled many women across rural India to become changemakers in their own right. Every initiative reflects the Society’s belief that social change begins with inner transformation—empowering people not just to survive, but to evolve and thrive.
