A full day tour to experience rich bioregion of Pondicherry and Auroville – visits to seasonal brackish water wetlands where one can see migratory birds. The water shed has diverse landforms such as the coast, dunes and charnockite hillocks, floodplain, the mangroves and the estuary. In the tour the we shall visit a fruit bat habitat, important wetlands of the region, salt pans, remains of Buckingham canal, historic port beach, sea turtle conservation site, living models of sacred groves and trek to the 4000 BC rock carvings site.
